The news from the International Energy Agency that carbon emissions have not been slowed by reduced economic growth as much as anticipated, means it is more important that ever that government takes action on climate change.

Acccording to the IEA, a record 30.6 gigatons of carbon dioxide was released into the atmosphere last year, mainly from the burning of fossil fuels.

The Welsh Government has a role to play in reducing carbon emissions and at Stop Climate Chaos Cymru we have researched and costed proposals for action that cuts carbon but also fosters social justice and tackles fuel poverty at the same time.
